This puzzle worksheet has 12 problems in which the students have the opportunity to practice graphing quadratic equations (from standard and vertex form), while also identifying the key characteristics of the parabola:
1. Axis of Symmetry
(I used this as a homework assignment for my students).
As the students graph the problem on their coordinate plane, their answer will give them a letter - this allows for quick grading! The letters will help them answer the puzzle at the bottom of the worksheet.
This activity pairs very well with the Parabola Hunt Activity, available in my shop. Check out the link: Parabola Hunt Activity

HSA.REI.C.5: solve quadratic equations by inspection, taking square roots, completing the square, the quadratic formula, and factoring, as appropriate to the initial form of the equation.
