Product Description
This is a scaffolded packet with step by step instructions on how to graph a polynomial that has already been factored. Most are cubic functions factored into linear binomials, such as (x - 1)(x + 2)(x - 3). The step-by-step pages include stating the zeroes, finding test points to determine the graph behavior, stating the y-intercept, and writing end behavior, as well as sketching the graph itself. For lower level students, I have them only work on problems 1 - 2, which are outlined in this packet. For my honors classes, after they complete 1-2 in the packet, the remainder of the work is done independently. However, students can use this as a reference. Graphing polynomials is tough! This guide makes it simple.
