Help students learn how to graph rational functions by identifying key components that define rational functions.
Students will identify any asymptotes (vertical, horizontal, and slant/oblique) and intercepts.
Using the above information, students will make a table of values, solve for outputs, and graph the function.
Examples include functions:
1. With/without horizontal asymptotes
2. With/without slant asymptotes
3. With point discontinuity
Blank student copy, instructions, and completed teacher copy are included.
Teacher/Instructor notes can be printed in color or black/white.
Print on colored paper for an added variety.
These notes were created using the Missouri Learning Standards. Therefore, two versions of the notes are included:
1. Missouri Learning Standard is NOT included on the notes
2. Missouri Learning Standard IS included on the notes.
