The attached foldable is a great tool to teach or review graphing systems of inequalities. There are 3 problems and a "proof" so that students understand that an ordered pair solution to a system of inequalities will satisfy both inequalities. This understanding helps 8th and 9th graders solidify what a system of equation is as well, since there is only one viable solution in that case.
I recommend 40 minutes for this foldable to give students ample amount of time to graph and find the overlapping section. I suggest using a blue and yellow highlighter to shade, so that the green section clearly represents the ordered pairs that are solutions to the system. Enjoy!
