When I was teaching a basic class on the concept of solving simultaneous systems using graphing, I found that the students got so bogged down in the details of graphing, worrying about slope and y-intercepts, and so forth, that they missed the concept entirely.
I wrote this worksheet to try to get it across as simply and directly as I could. It includes checks along the way to make sure the students stay on track.
This worksheet is intended to be written on directly.
