Develop students' ability to collect data and create graphs with this fun activity!

Students pick a data card and matching graph sheet. They survey their class, tally the responses and create a bar graph to represent the data. Lettering is included to create a display.

There are 11 different topics;

What is your favourite pet?

What is your favourite treat?

What is your favourite food?

What is your favourite sport?

What is your favourite colour?

What is your favourite shape?

When is your birthday?

How many coloured cars did you see outside?

How many letters are in your name?

How do you get to school?

What is your eye colour?

This activity is low prep, simply print and go! A visual instruction page is included.

Australian and American spelling versions are included.

This was extremely easy to adapt to a whole range of abilities in my 4/5 classroom, and I loved the ability to practice tallying along with graphing. It was perfect for those who were using bar graphs and the few using pictographs. Thank you!
