Graphing Trigonometric Functions Scavenger Hunt
This walk around activity will help students practice identifying the key characteristics of the sine, cosine, and tangent functions and matching them to their graphs. Students begin the activity by choosing any one of the equations posted around the classroom, and the graph for that equation will lead them to the next station.
This scavenger hunt requires that students be able to recognize the graphs of sine, cosine, and tangent and that they are able to identify the amplitude, period, midline/vertical shift, and y-intercept of these graphs (as applicable).
This download includes a 10 station scavenger hunt (provided in color and grayscale), instructions, a student answer sheet, and an answer key.
