I created this product to use with my high school physical science students, but have also used it with my honors physics students as well.
This product requires students to graph velocity and acceleration, calculate the average speed between different time intervals, calculate average acceleration, and make conclusions and estimates about the data in their graphs.
This product includes the 4 page graphing activity and a 4 page KEY.
This activity is aligned to the following Georgia Performance Standard:
SPS8. Students will determine relationships among force, mass, and motion.
a) Calculate velocity and acceleration
It also requires students to practice crucial scientific skills such as graphing and reading and interpreting graphs.
