Students can use these worksheets to practice reading and creating a variety of graphs. All of the graphs include information related to Virginia (such as Richmond's average monthly precipitation, lengths of Virginia rivers, and types of farms in the Valley and Ridge region).
Students will be asked to interpret line graphs, bar graphs, pictographs, and circle graphs (including identifying graph trends). They will also represent data by creating their own bar graphs and line graphs based on information provided in charts.
These worksheets are aligned with Virginia Math SOL 4.14, with a little extra thrown in (i.e., the circle graphs and double line and bar graphs).
