This Skills Pack includes 42 Graphing and Data Interpretation activities that will reinforce data collection/interpretation skills in your classroom. Graphs include: bar graphs, picture graphs, line plots and tally charts. Students will have the opportunity to read and interpret all these kinds of graphs. They will also have the opportunity to collect their own data and record it using the graphs listed above.
The bar graphs and picture graphs involve many-to-one correspondence. The tally charts and line plots involve one-to-one correspondence. Many of the activities involve converting data from one-to-one to many-to-one correspondence.
These graphing activities work well to learn and reinforce graphing concepts in class. They also work great as morning work, or a math warm-up or assessment tool.
They are best-suited to Grades 3 and 4, but may be useful in some Grade 2 classes as well.
Please check out the FREE PREVIEW for detailed descriptions of everything that is included.
