-A data interpretation and analyses powerpoint
-3 data interpretation practices (analyzing data tables and graphs)
-A creating data tables practice with a mix of analyzing data tables
-A Pendulum Laboratory Activity: Students combine data and graphing skills as they build pencil/yarn/butterfly clips of different lengths and measure the time of the pendulum swing.
This mini-unit is interesting and rigorous, and builds a solid foundation of data interpretation, analyses, and graphing skills. These are critical skill sets for students to have in life - data literacy is huge in society, politics, economic, science and more! They are also important skills for students to have on all EoG tests.
