Graphing and Properties of Quadratics Concept Map, Interactive Notebook pages, Quick Check, or worksheets
This resource enables your students to explore quadratic equations
using eight different properties. Each of the ten problems includes one or two of the following properties: Standard form of the equation, Vertex form of the equation, Vertex, Axis of symmetry, Zeros, y – intercept, Domain and range, and Graph of the quadratic function. Students must determine the other missing properties, making each page different than the previous.
This engaging version a concept map exercise will “connect the dots” of the relationships between the eight properties of quadratic function. Students can color or create doodle notes on the pages when done. These pages are very versatile and can be used for interactive notebooks, Quick Checks, or Stations with students working in small groups.
A blank template
is included for you to customize the resource and create your own pages, possibly to use as an assessment or to differentiate.
