These posters are designed to be reference posters with simple mnemonics to help your secondary science students create graphs and keep their variables straight. There are 3 sets of posters:
-The TAILS posters help your students remember a graphing checklist while they create their graphs (the letters stand for Title, Axes, Intervals, Labels, and Scale)
-The TAILS prompts contain a set of questions to go along with the TAILS posters (for example, "Is your title clear and descriptive?")
-The DRYMIX posters help your students remember the properties and axes for their independent and dependent variables (Dependent, Responding, Y-Axis; Manipulated, Independent, X-Axis)
I've also included a quick 1-page reference guide to explain the mnemonics a little more clearly. I keep these posters on either side of my whiteboard and reference them constantly. They are ready to print and can immediately be put on your walls, no prep needed!
