What educators are saying

My geometry students were engaged during this activity. They worked in pairs and it was a quick way to review circles. Thanks!

This lesson plan and activity were created to allow students to explore a real life situation involving graphing circles. Students will get lots of practice writing equations for circles and graphing circles on a coordinate plane as well as using some problem solving skills to make their own decisions.

A lesson plan with some estimates of time are included in the pages.

Make sure students have graph paper that has at least 40 units total for the x-axis.Standard graph paper from the store normally works for this.
