Your students will love these concept map organizers to practice graphing and determining the characteristics and properties of Logarithmic Functions.
There are eight problems plus a blank problem template for you to customize or create an assessment or homework. I have also included step-by-step guided notes
for your students to refer to before graphing. Students usually have a difficult time graphing Log functions by hand. This handout breaks it down into easy steps for them. They will never struggle again.
For each problem students fill in a table, find the domain, range, asymptote , x – intercepts, y-intercepts, and end behavior. After analyzing the characteristics and properties, students graph the function.
I have included two formats in two different sized of the resource for your convenience, 2 to a page and 4 to a page. The smaller ones do not include tables and can even be used as a Quick Check, while the larger format guides students through the process. These concept map organizers can also be used as Task or Station Cards. They are set up similar to Doodle Notes and students can color or embellish when done. Answer keys included.
