Graphs of functions: Domain and range graphs - review Task cards

There are 36 “graphs of functions” task cards in this product. An answer sheet is provided at the end of the task cards. For each graph, students must solve:

· Domain of graph.
· Range of graph.
· Is it a function: Yes or No?

Students sometime struggle with questions about domain and range of graphs and finding if it’s a function or not, which is why I made many questions.

The graphs vary from easy graphs of lines, parabolas and absolute values to far more complicated graphs. There is ample space on each card for the graphs to be big enough to examine carefully and also to write answers on the cards.

I often suggest laminating before cutting the cards, but for these cards, a teacher may wish to distribute them in paper format for students to write answers directly in.
The cards can be used as homework, individual work, work stations, group work, pair work, test stations or simply placed in a box for the kids to pick out at random.

All answers are included.
