This elementary school counseling activity is a perfect character education exercise to practice expressing gratitude for things and people. Two activities are included: in one activity, students practice expressing gratitude for non-typical things, challenging them to think beyond the things they typically say they are grateful for! In the second activity, students express gratitude for their peers.
