This is a gratitude journal writing prompt for students to identify and expound upon 3 things for which they are grateful. You establish parameters. Guided prompts are provided throughout for students who are unable to accurately and independently complete writing activities without assistance or a lot of mistakes. This is a high school level activity for learning disabled students. Works wonderful with the Autistic population who are academically high functioning, but unable to write their thoughts in an organized fashion. This is also a great daily activity for emotional disturbed or "BD" students to help them to think positively. It is an amazing process to watch, and I have personally seen using this writing device work wonders opening up students with communication disorders and emotional problems.
