Graveyard Homophone Craftivity: This NO PREP, homophone FREEBIE is perfect for the month of October or anytime of the year! It's an engaging and unique way for students to review the classic homophones: there, their, they're, to, too, and two.
Students will have fun reading various gravestones to learn how each Halloween character died or more about them when they were alive. Don't worry, only villains were killed off. Each gravestone has a sentence with a missing homophone. Students will need to read the sentence to help them identify the missing homophone and then write it in the blank. Then, they cut out the gravestones on the worksheet as well as some other decorative pieces to assemble their graveyard craftivities.
Student-friendly instructions are included so that you can display them on your projector or under your document camera. Students can then refer to them while working on their project.
When they are all done, you can use their final products to create an eye-catching and leg-stopping bulletin board. Trust me! Students and fellow teachers will want to stop and read their craftivities!
