How many times have you heard a student say, "There is no gravity on the moon"? It's time to clear up this common misconception with this memorable mini project!
Students will create postcards from the moon and Jupiter, expressing what the gravity is like in each location. The objective is for students to remember that while all matter has gravity, the more massive something is, the more gravity it has.
This document includes procedures, a postcard template (which is useful for many other assignments!), a rubric, and student examples.
