The first page contains a list of cast and crew and a background and introduction on the film. The second page is a page that allows viewers to jot and take down their own notes. Pages three, four, five, and six contain comprehension questions to guide the viewer on the work's allusions, camera movement, characterization, cinematography, conflict (internal and external), costume design, editing, foreshadowing, inferences, irony (dramatic and situational), lighting, mise en scene, movement, plot, setting, sound, story, style, symbolism, and themes. The seventh page contains discussion questions on the work's character archetypes, characterization, feminist or sexist qualities, MPAA rating, plot, puns, sociocultural context, style, and themes. The eighth and last page is a genre study page that asks students to analyze what is evident in "Grease" as a musical regarding its subject matter, style/technique, and morals/ideologies/themes.
A quiz that can be used as a summative assessment with this packet, a formative assessment, is available as a separate purchase.
