Description

This Great Awakening activity is a simple, 1-page reading that explains the background, people, events, and significance of this period during the 13 Colonies Era in America.

It includes George Whitfield, Jonathan Edwards and his "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" sermon, how the Great Awakening influenced the American Revolution and more. It is great for a review or preview before your unit.

The review questions can all be answered from the passage and an answer key is included for your convenience.

The resource also includes a link to an editable Google Docs version of the reading and worksheet!
