This product covers the incident that will hurt President Herbert Hoover's chances of getting re-elected. Once news of the Bonus Army spread across the nation candidate Franklin D. Roosevelt eased off his campaigning because he knew that politically the Bonus Army incident would ruing Hoover. This lesson provided background information on the incident along with a cooperative learning activity that will require students to discuss photographs and present their findings to their peers.
