Product Description

This outlines a research project that teachers can use when teaching how Americans dealt with the hardships of the Great Depression.

It focuses on songs, movies, and radio shows during the Great Depression, soup kitchens, and "the dole".

It's a great activity that creates differentiation by allowing students to choose their role in the group and the coping mechanism they research. It also allows a great deal of student agency by allowing students to create their group presentation and teach their classmates.
