Great Depression Farming and Dust Bowl Webquest
Students will gain basic knowledge about farming practices and the impact of the Great Depression on rural America. The webquest uses a great website to let students learn about farming during the 1930s.
Click here to view the website.
The webquest contains 50 questions and is a great way to introduce or review key facts about the Great Depression. Unique pictures and stories are sure to make this webquest interesting to your students. An answer sheet is included for the teacher.
I usually use this webquest as an introduction activity for my students and it takes at least one class period, but usually two class periods for my students to complete the webquest. Feel free to modify this activity if needed to fit the needs of your students.
This lesson plan is included in my Great Depression Lesson Plan Collection.
