Great Depression New Deal Agencies Analysis


Description
This Great Depression activity includes brief overviews of nine New Deal "alphabet agencies" of FDR's New Deal. After reading and analyzing a graphic of each one, students match it to its more well known abbreviation and label it "relief, reform, or recovery" based on an included description of each.
After reviewing each agency and completing the chart, student create their own cartoon or poster to promote one of the New Deal alphabet agencies.
All information needed to complete the activity is included, as is an answer key for your convenience.

The Google Docs version features links to online resources about each event so students can research and determine the purpose of each New Deal agency!
