This activity can be used during reading or as an assessment or project after reading Great Expectations. This differentiated activity allows students the choice of nine different projects. They must choose three of the nine on the tic-tac-toe board. All options are aligned with the new Common Core State Standards for ELA; they all require a close reading of the text and the use of evidence from the text to create each project. The options take students interests and multiple intelligence into account; this assignment allows students to utilize technology as well. The documents include a detailed description of each project option as well as multiple images of each option.
