Product Description
Using an excerpt of Bronte's novel, Wuthering Heights, students discuss setting and characterization to later draw parallels with Dickens's characters from Great Expectations. This activity can be completed before, during, or after the reading of Great Expectations.

This is a great way to expose students to another author of the era to enhance their understanding of a time period.

Depending on students' reading level, this activity can be completed as a class, or the class can read the text then students can work in groups or independently on the questions before reviewing the responses.
