A Great Gatsby anticipatory activity that asks students to create a brochure or pamphlet to help party-goers attend a 1920s bash. Students will research music, clothing, food, celebrities and events of the 1920s as they learn about life in the Gatsby era. Can be used as an anticipatory activity to enhance knowledge about the Roaring 20s prior to reading the novel or as a supplement while reading the book.
The handout includes project requirements, research hyperlinks and grading rubric. Note that the rubric cannot be edited, but there are two rubrics — one with point values inserted and one for you to write in point values.
