I usually give the directions orally, one step at a time. Sometimes, I have my students stand to present their glyphs to their classmates. Then, without the presenter speaking, we see if we can tell 3 things about that student. Another fun way to present glyphs is to randomly pass them out. Each child needs to write a paragraph about the child using only the information from the glyph. We always post our completed glyphs and the directions in the hall- and paragraphs if we did them
