We all were given a name, and we all are very special with our names. Children love hearing their names. Doesn't it feel great when someone says to you, "Good Morning, Susan! How are you today? I've missed you." Learning how to greet others and say good morning is a critical life skill that we can teach our children. Having different ways to say good morning to will liven up your school days all year long.
The Common Core Standards of reading, speaking, listening and recall are fostered and reinforced every time you do a greeting with your children. So get greeting and let your students shine in their increased self esteem. Check out these greetings and other energizers on my very own YouTube channel called "SueTube".
