Do your students struggle with grammar skills? This interactive brick wall helps keep students accountable for using previously taught grammar skills in their writing.
Each brick states a different grammar skill. There are also sentences to show examples of what it looks like in writing. Within each sentence, the specific skill is highlighted for a better visual.
After you teach a new grammar skill to your students, simply put it together by building a "brick wall," hence, "Good Writing is Built One Brick at a Time!"
Refer back to the wall as you are modeling writing or as you are conferring with students about their writing. If you notice they aren't applying one of the previous taught skills, they can go look at the "wall" to see what it is they need to do!
