With these 18 Task Cards, kindergarteners will practice comparing numbers to 10, which is an important skill in order to develop strong number sense. These Task Cards are super fun and can be used many ways: whole group review for Kindergarten, as a scavenger hunt, as a scoot game, or in a small group as a math center for additional practice and intervention for Grade 1 or 2.

It’s so important for young learners to understand that numbers can be shown in many ways! This resource is extremely visually appealing and great for getting math brains to think in the pictorial and abstract stage. It’s as equally important to get young learners UP and MOVING! A favorite way to use this resource is as a scavenger hunt. Hiding the task cards around the room and seeing students have a BLAST searching everywhere, all while strengthening their addition math skills, is just how we want students learning!
