Finding the greatest common factor (GCF) is the key to simplifying. Once students master this skill, simplifying becomes a piece of cake! This set of task cards was created to help students to become comfortable with the process of finding the greatest common factor, while also challenging them to think of factors that are outside of their everyday multiplication chart, with the highest number used being 75 and the lowest being 8. Included are a notes page that reviews this skill, 24 task cards, easy to use recording pages, and an answer key.
