This handout goes along with the story the Greedy Triangle! It is to be used with the common game scoot or gallery walk. Common Core aligned 2.G.1. Recognize and draw shapes having specified attributes, such as a given number of angles or a given number
of equal faces. Identify triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes. Sizes are compared directly or visually, not compared by measuring.
The students are given clues/attributes and are asked to draw and name the shape as the standards state. The students need to understand the specific attributes and be able to name the shape based on them. Newly updated to include the response sheet and more visually appealing!
