In “Tales of Love and Tragedy in Greek Mythology," students are required to write down how the following myths develop the theme of tragic love in them. The myths include the following tales: Achilles and Penthesileia, Aphrodite and Adonis, Cephalus and Procris, Hylas and the Nymphs, Pyramus and Thisbe, and Selene and Endymion. Web sites have been added for each of the aforementioned tales. An answer key has been included for quick and easy reference. Given some of the content matter of this assignment, it is better suited for more mature students.
