PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This fifteen minute play is a depiction of the classic Greek myth of Perseus and his quest to kill the gorgon Medusa. It's modern language and humorous approach will have students racing to class to rehearse.
This play features 14 speaking rolls:
King Polydectes: the evil king
Martin: an evil advisor to the king
Bob: an evil advisor to the king
Harry: an evil advisor to the king
Perseus: the Greek demigod who defeats medusa
Hermes: messenger of the gods
Athena: goddess of wisdom and war
Hag 1: (mystical old women, similar to witches who share an eyeball and tooth)
Hag 2: (mystical old women, similar to witches who share an eyeball and tooth)
Hag 3: (mystical old women, similar to witches who share an eyeball and tooth)
Nymph 1: (guards of the golden apple orchards, preppy-like in personality)
Nymph 2: (guards of the golden apple orchards, preppy-like in personality)
Nymph 3/ Danae: (guards of the golden apple orchards, preppy-like in personality this nymph doubles as Perseus mother, Danae
Medusa: Ugly gorgon monster with snakes for hair.

Simple props are suggested to use to make this play performable in a classroom as well as a stage.
