This fifteen minute play is a depiction of the classic Greek myth of Hades and how he kidnapped Persephone which explains the seasons and how they came to be. It's modern language and humorous approach will have students racing to class to rehearse.

Demeter: goddess of Agriculture
Persephone: daughter of Demeter; queen of the Underworld
Zeus: king of the gods; brother to Demeter and Hades

Tree 3: evil pomegranate tree; works for Hades; dimwitted
Tree 4: evil pomegranate tree; works for Hades; dimwitted


Simple props are suggested to use to make this play performable in a classroom as well as a stage.
