Product Description
This project is based off of selections from Edith Hamilton's book, Mythology. The intended purpose of this project is to give students an opportunity to learn more in depth about the Gods and Goddesses that they will be alluded to in The Odyssey. Students divide up into group of 3/4 and choose one of the three interactive options. They either: create the front page of the newspaper, Interview a panel of gods/goddesses, or create a scene from a movie/play. Students will then present or act out their projects so that all students have an opportunity to see and learn through their peers.

The following stories were used in the development of this project:

1. Titans and the Twelve Olympians
2. Lesser Gods
3. The Underworld
4. The Lesser Gods of the Earth
5. The Two Great Gods of Earth
6. How the World and Mankind were Created
7. The Cyclops Polyphemus
8. The Trojan War
9. The Fall of Troy
