Work with your students on Greek Mythology; assess them on the origins of mythology and the stories of many gods.
Students get to work on what are myths and how they are built. We see in class three types of myths;
• Hero Myths
• Historical Myths
• Poetic Myths
After skimming over the story of Hercules and the differences between the gods and goddesses of Greek mythology, students will reinvest their understanding and create their own god/goddess.
They will also create a myth and an odyssey of their life, which is something very thoughtful and perfect for this time of the year! Students got super creative with this unit and were able to reinvest their knowledge from what their have seen in other courses.
Unfortunately, I did not upload an answer key with this document because most of the time, answers will vary depending on what students know or learned, but also on your cultural background.
In my opinion, the document is pretty self-explanatory, so a guideline and answer key would be a waste of paper.
