Product Description
Research-Based Greek Mythology Interactive Layered Flip Book

Let your students creativity shine with the Greek Mythology Research Flip Book!

This project is designed for 6th-12th grade and will take approximately 2-3 days to complete.

Prior to creating flip books, students will select a Greek God, Goddess, or Mythological Figure to research. A list of sample topics is included in this resource.
Students are provided with an entire research packet for this project.

Along with sample research topics (Greek Gods, Goddess, and Mythological Figures and Creatures), the research packet contains a research note-taking chart, and Greek Mythology website research links!

Ten quality websites have been selected for your students to easily access from their own Google Drive research packet!

After selecting his or her topic, students will use the digital note-taking chart to record relevant details. The chart includes guiding research areas, such as Symbols for the God or Goddess and What They Stand For and Summarize an Adventure or an Episode that Involves your God or Goddess.

The structured research areas are clearly defined on the Greek Mythology Digital Research Chart. This will keep your students focused and their research notes organized!

After conducting research and completing their research note-taking charts, students will design a flip book featuring their research notes and relevant images.

The flip book template is provided. All students need is access to Google Slides or Microsoft Power Point.

The template is locked; the text boxes are editable! Students can choose their own fonts, insert their research notes in the text box, and insert relevant pictures on each page. Teachers can also modify the flip book tabbed areas if desired!

Directions for printing and assembly are included! Pictures are in the teacher notes as a point of reference. This flip book is very easy to assemble – no gluing, no coloring, no drawing, no laminating, or extensive cutting needed!

Literally, all students need are scissors and a stapler! This provides a fun alternative to a traditional slide presentation and power point projects! The resulting flip books in this project are aesthetically beautiful and rich with informative detail!

Use this as a stand-alone short-term research project or pair with The Odyssey or The Lightning Thief!

A teacher’s grading rubric is also included!
