Here is a mythological take on the popular Two Truths and a Fib Game! After your unit on mythology, your students can “show what they know” by writing their own truths and fibs!
Hang the five tear tab posters around your room and let students choose one tab from a poster of their choice. Each tab contains the name of a mythological god, goddess, or monster on it. Students think about what they know about that character and write two truths (facts) about that character and one fib (untruth) on the template page provided. Students can use their notes or reference books you might have in your room. Once students have written out their truths and fibs, they can trade papers with a partner and the partner can circle their choice of the fib at the bottom and let the other studnet check it. Or students can read their truths and fibs aloud to the class.
Popular mythological characters such as Zeus, Heracles, Medusa, Minotaur, Apollo, Hera, Hermes, Athena, Arachne, Echo, Narcissus, Hephaestus, Cyclops, and more are included!
Great way for students to get up, stretch, and interact with their classmates!
