This is a fun way for your students to practice Greek and Latin prefixes and root words. Students will move around the room determining meanings. Each card has a definition, question, or set of words for students to use to determine the answer. Once they figure out the meaning of the root word, they must record it on their answer sheet and then search the room for another card that has the answer on it. Once they find it they will read the question and use the clues on the card to figure out the next word meaning. It is so much better than a traditional worksheet or dictionary activity. The students will have so much fun with the movement that they won't even realize they are doing work! The 20 cards correlate with the fourth and fifth grade common core standards L.4.4 and L.5.4
