This project is intended for students to work on individually or in small groups. Students select a Greek/Latin suffix, illustrate and define it, and generate examples of words that use that suffix. These can be made into class books or posters to be displayed around the classroom as a collaborative, student-driven vocabulary development and word study experience.
The heavy use of visuals is intended as a scaffold for visual learners and struggling readers. This resource was designed for use in a 50/50 inclusion setting.
While this is based on Wonders Unit 2.3, it can be used in any classroom where Greek and Latin suffixes are being studied.
