Besides 4 scripts, the package includes suggestions for lesson planning, step by step implementation, RAFT writing assignments and links to online games and resources. If you have never tried readers theater with a class this package will walk you through. If you are looking for a script that can be preformed for other classes, parent’s night or as an educational drama program, you have found it.
Odyssey -Two scripts are included for the Odyssey. Both essentially tell the epic of Odysseus. One follows the story in the order it unfolds in the original books. The chronological version has 33 roles (some are but one line) and does not cover, just mentions, his time with Calypso. Six sailors move the plot forward. Themes and symbols are more fully covered in this script.
