My kiddos LOVE the Dr. Seuss story “Green Eggs and Ham.”
With that in mind, I designed these quick, easy and fun games
, as a way to review colors
and color words
Even tho' I designed this for a Dr. Seuss activity
, the egg activities could also be used for spring and Easter
The packet includes
* 11 different colored egg cards (Make extra sets to play Memory Match
and "I Have; Who Has?"
* 11 traceable "piggy" color word cards
(Make an extra set and put on your word wall
* A cover, plus a black & white
set, so students can make the cards into an Itty Bitty color booklet
* Colored eggs spinning game
, complete with spinner and recording sheet, with and without color words, so really little ones can also play.
* A Match the colors to their color words worksheet
In the “It’s a Yolk”
scrambled colors game, children match a colored yolk to the color word, or for more options, they can match the halves
of plastic eggs
to colors or color words.
I’m Diane I Am, from Teach With Me, wishing you a hearty and colorful “breakfast”.
