In this Greenhouse Effect Lesson you will get a teacher guide which instructs you on how to use the materials throughout the class and set up the greenhouse effect lab. Students receive a Greenhouse effect lab observation sheet. Beakers of water are set up in a way to mimic the greenhouse effect. Students will predict which one will heat up faster. Also included is an article on the greenhouse effect and close reading questions.
CAUTION***Depending on how much time you have or how many materials you have, the Lab can be done as a classroom demonstration. I actually was observed and did this part of the lesson as a classroom observation to save time. It worked out great!!!!
The article is great and explains the basics of the greenhouse effect. I have provided close reading questions students can answer with their partner.
