This file includes five sheets that help students with the basic formatting of assignments and organizing their work. The first sheet prints lines on copy paper. I use this for students who struggle to write in straight lines on unlined paper, especially on projects when teachers prohibit the use of loose leaf paper. Sheet two is a large grid that I use to help students learn how to line up numbers when using the four mathematical operations. Sheet three is a smaller version of the grid to help students scale down from very large writing. Sheet four is a coordinate plane with space at the bottom to add ordered pairs or other types of Math problems, such as area, that can be solved using the grid. Sheet five contains 20 Math work boxes. Organizing work is one of the most important factors in Math success, and this sheet provides the structure needed for some students to keep their work neat and organized.
