Your students will learn plot and character development, protagonist versus antagonist. A fun project with learning as a surprise!
Reading Informational, Reading Literary, Speaking and Listening
1. Four Traits of a Protagonist (13 Slides)
2. Story Map and Answer Key (2 Pages)
3. Story Structure Worksheet with Answer Key (2 Pages)
Note: I have seen teachers refer the “The Grinch” as the antagonist because he seems to be the “bad guy” in the story. Do not make this mistake. The Grinch is the protagonist because he changes as a result of events in the story. Cindy Lou Who is the antagonist because she is the one who stands in his way.
I wish you and your students the very best learning experience with this product.
