Welcome to the Grinchy Book Report. This book report will get your “grinchiest” reader to write about their favorite book. It makes for a great project. Students suggest a good book that even a Grinch would love and draw a picture.
This worksheet will work well with any age of students, but especially with students from Kindergarten through third grade. Students will choose a favorite book and write about it on an open book graphic. After filling out their name and information on the book’s title, students can color a drawing of the book. There is a second option where they can also write why they like the book. As a librarian, I have students write the call number of the book on the spine. Both worksheets work great for displays or bulletin boards.
Images for this worksheet are NOT in the public domain. The hands and open book came from the website https://www.mycute graphics.com/. The grinchy face I purchased on Etsy from OrangeCutDesigns.
Thank you for downloading this activity. If you enjoy this, please check my store for more fun book reports that students love to do. There is also another book report similar to this one where students can suggest to another person and use a photo or draw a face of the recipient.
